Sunday Afternoon Cruise
Duration: 4 Hours (approx.)
Location: Picton, Marlborough
Product code: P19F5V
Everyone knows that Sundays are for cruising! What could be better than a leisurely boat trip out to Motuara Island, a predator free bird sanctuary home to some of New Zealand's rarest and endangered native birds. After leaving Motuara Island you will cruise to historical Ship Cove, named by Captain Cook in 1770. Here you will have the opportunity to go ashore for a 15 minute stroll on the beach with the resident Oyster Catchers, Paradise Ducks and the native Wood Hens (Weka) and visit Captain Cook's monument to commemorate his visits here. Jump aboard again and begin to make your way home, viewing the Salmon Farm in Ruakaka Bay along the way.
**Please note that during our Winter Months the boat may return to Picton as early as 4pm. The reservations staff will confirm the tour content and arrival time upon check in.
