 Itinerary

Day One

Depart Picton on our 9:00am service
to Ship Cove. Spend some time at Historic Ship Cove with the Captain Cook monument
before heading out on your 17km walk to Furneaux Lodge. As you walk onto the
Queen Charlotte Track from Ship Cove you will walk through native, virgin forest
climbing up the track through a high canopy of trees before dropping down into an
old bridal path that follows around into the Endeavour Inlet. When you reach
Furneaux Lodge enjoy a drink or some lunch, your boat will collect you at
4:15pm to transfer you across to the Punga Cove Resort, your accommodation for
the night.

Day Two

Enjoy your breakfast at Punga Cove
Resort before heading out onto the track, along the coastline and around the
Endeavour Inlet for an 11km walk back to Furneaux Lodge. The area is also rich
with history as it was once the site of an Antimony Mine, take some time to
read the information panels there and explore the area. Continue around the
shore, with pasture land on either side and then through native forest with
views right down the Inlet to the main Queen Charlotte Sound. Today the
4:15pm boat will collect you from Furneaux Lodge and bring you back to Picton
for approximately 5:30pm.
